Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and onion powder on both sides.
  • Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, chicken broth, and brown sugar. Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  • Optionally, remove chicken thighs and place under a broiler for 2-3 minutes to caramelize the sauce. Serve hot with extra sauce from the slow cooker.
