Ingredients
  

Cake and Layers

  • 1 box Devil’s Food cake mix Make according to box instructions.
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 16 oz whipped cream Store-bought or homemade.
  • 22 oz caramel syrup
  • 8 oz Heath English Toffee Bits
  • 1 King-Sized Heath bar For crushing and topping.

Preparation and Assembly

  • Prepare the Devil’s Food cake mix according to the instructions on the box.
  • Once the cake is baked, allow it to cool for a few minutes then cut the cake into small, bite-sized squares.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the warm cake to soak.
  • Spread ⅓ of the soaked cake at the bottom of the trifle bowl.
  • Spread ⅓ of the whipped cream over the cake layer, drizzle ⅓ of the caramel syrup, and sprinkle Heath Toffee Bits.
  • Repeat the layering process two more times.
  • Crush the Heath bar and sprinkle over the top layer.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
