Filling
- 1 cup firm tofu, crumbled
- 1 cup cabbage, finely shredded
- ½ cup carrots, grated
- ¼ cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
Dumplings
- 8 pieces rice paper wrappers
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for frying
Filling Preparation
Prepare the filling by heating sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
Add crumbled tofu, cabbage, carrots, and green onions. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
Dumpling Assembly
Soften a rice paper wrapper in warm water for about 10 seconds, place on a damp towel, and add 2 tablespoons of filling in the center.
Fold the rice paper edges tightly around the filling to form a dumpling. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
