Ingredients
  

Filling

  • 1 cup firm tofu, crumbled
  • 1 cup cabbage, finely shredded
  • ½ cup carrots, grated
  • ¼ cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Dumplings

  • 8 pieces rice paper wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

Filling Preparation

  • Prepare the filling by heating sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  • Add crumbled tofu, cabbage, carrots, and green onions. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  • Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let the filling cool slightly.

Dumpling Assembly

  • Soften a rice paper wrapper in warm water for about 10 seconds, place on a damp towel, and add 2 tablespoons of filling in the center.
  • Fold the rice paper edges tightly around the filling to form a dumpling. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Pan-fry the dumplings for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
