Equipment

  • blender
  • fine mesh sieve
  • pitcher

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks (about 1 small pineapple)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 5-6 lemons)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Pineapple slices for garnish (optional)
  • Lemon wheels for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Place the fresh pineapple chunks into a high-speed blender. Blend until completely smooth and juicy, about 1 minute.
  • Pour the blended pineapple through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large pitcher to remove the fibrous pulp, extracting as much juice as possible.
  • Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Pour in the cold water and stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour so the flavors meld and the lemonade is perfectly chilled.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour in the Pineapple Lemonade, garnish with pineapple slices, lemon wheels, and fresh mint if using. Serve immediately and enjoy!
