  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped optional
  • 1 cup baby spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Cooking Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the ground chicken, red onion, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix everything together. Divide the mixture evenly and form 4 large patties.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil. Cook the patties for approximately 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Alternatively, you can grill the chicken patties.
  • Enjoy the patties plain or assemble them into chicken burgers with your favorite toppings and condiments!

Notes

These patties will last 3 to 4 days in an airtight container in the fridge. They can be frozen for up to 3 months, and raw patties can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge.
