  • Prepare Brussels Sprouts: Clean the sprouts by trimming the ends and removing any discolored leaves. With a knife or food processor, thinly shred them for quick and even cooking.
  • Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers beautifully.
  • Sauté Sprouts: Add shredded Brussels sprouts to the skillet, stirring occasionally for about 8-10 minutes until tender and golden brown.
  • Add Garlic: In the last 2 minutes of cooking, sprinkle in minced garlic, stirring until fragrant.
  • Season: Off heat, mix in salt, pepper, grated Parmesan, and lemon juice. Stir until the cheese starts to melt.
  • Add Optional Heat: If desired, sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes and toss gently.
