- 6 pieces bone-in, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
Add the seared chicken thighs to the crock pot and pour in the chicken broth.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
