Ingredients
  

  • 6 pieces bone-in, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
  • Add the seared chicken thighs to the crock pot and pour in the chicken broth.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  • Transfer the chicken to a serving platter, spoon some of the cooking juices over the top, and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
