For the Brussels Sprouts
- 1 pound Brussels Sprouts Fresh, small sprouts preferred
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For roasting
- 1 teaspoon Salt Sea salt or kosher preferred
- 1 teaspoon Pepper Freshly ground black pepper recommended
For the Cheese
- 8 ounces Boursin Garlic and Herb Cream Cheese, add after roasting
Optional Garnishes
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs Parsley or chives
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice To brighten flavors before serving
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Prepare the Brussels sprouts by washing them thoroughly, removing outer leaves, trimming ends, and halving each sprout.
Arrange the sprouts on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss gently to coat.
Spread the sprouts in a single layer, cut-side down. Roast for 20 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
Top the hot sprouts with chunks of Boursin cheese and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
Toss the Brussels sprouts gently to coat with the melted cheese and transfer to a serving dish.
