Equipment

  • Slow Cooker
  • large pot

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Heinz chili sauce 12-ounce (1 ¼ cups)
  • 1 can jellied cranberry sauce 14-ounce
  • 1 tablespoon packed light or dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 bags frozen cooked bite-size Italian meatballs 14 to 18-ounce bags, do not thaw
  • finely chopped fresh parsley leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Whisk Heinz chili sauce, jellied cranberry sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a slow cooker until smooth. Stir in frozen meatballs.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 2.5 hours or LOW for 3 to 4 hours until heated through. For thicker sauce, cook uncovered on HIGH for last 30 minutes.
  • Transfer meatballs and sauce to a serving dish or serve straight from the slow cooker. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For a faster version, cook everything in a large pot over medium-low heat for about 25 minutes. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 4 days.
