Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Pretzels (mini twists or rods)
  • 8 oz High-quality chocolate (semi-sweet, dark, milk, or white)
  • ½ cup Peppermint candies or candy canes, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Vegetable shortening or coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Melt the chocolate slowly using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Add vegetable shortening or coconut oil to help it melt smoothly.
  • Dip the pretzels into the melted chocolate, working in small batches.
  • Place the dipped pretzels on parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies over the chocolate-covered pretzels.
  • Chill in the refrigerator or freezer until the chocolate is set completely.
