  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together warm milk, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  • Stir in melted unsalted butter, large egg, all-purpose flour, and salt until you have a slightly sticky dough.
  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
