- 2 cup chicken breast cooked and shredded
- 3 cup white rice cooked

- ½ teaspoon black pepper

- 10.5 oz chicken broth

Instructions

- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Dice onion and mince garlic. Steam broccoli florets until just tender.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until softened.
- In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, milk, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Add cooked rice, chicken, broccoli, and sautéed onion mixture to the sauce. Stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy hot.
