Ingredients
  

Beef

  • 3 lbs beef chuck cut into chunks
  • 1 cup diced onion for flavor
  • 4 cloves garlic minced

Spices

  • 2 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Liquids

  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water

Cooking Instructions

  • In a large Dutch oven, brown the beef chunks on all sides.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until translucent.
  • Stir in the spices and cook for another minute.
  • Pour in the beef broth and water, then bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 2 hours, until beef is tender.
  • Let it rest for at least 1 hour before serving for the flavors to develop.
