  • 1 can Apple Pie Filling Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Optional nutmeg for added flavor

For the Taquitos

  • 6 pieces Soft Flour Tortillas Medium-sized for easy rolling
  • 2 tablespoon Unsalted Butter Melted for brushing

For the Coating

  • ½ cup Sugar Brown sugar can be substituted

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by brushing with melted butter.
  • Mix together sugar and cinnamon in a shallow plate.
  • Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces for even distribution.
  • Lay a tortilla flat and add a couple of tablespoons of the chopped filling near one edge. Roll tightly.
  • Brush the rolled taquito with melted butter and roll in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  • Arrange the taquitos snugly in the baking dish.
  • Bake for approximately 15 minutes until golden brown and serve immediately.
