  • Incorporate chopped tomatoes and cook until oil separates, about 5 minutes.
  • Mix in ground beef or lamb, cooking until browned, approximately 7-10 minutes.
  • Stir in all dry spices, cooking for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add diced potatoes and enough water to cover, bringing to a boil.
  • Simmer covered for 25 minutes, checking tenderness of potatoes.
  • Garnish with garam masala and chopped coriander before serving.
