  • 500 g Minced Meat Choose beef, mutton or chicken

For the Vegetables

  • 2 medium Potatoes Diced
  • 1 large Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 medium Tomatoes Chopped

For the Spice Mix

  • 2 medium Green Chilies Adjust heat level according to preference
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala Best added at the end

For Garnish

  • ¼ cup Cilantro Freshly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice To taste

For Cooking

  • 2 tablespoon Oil For sautéing
  • 1 cup Water

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat until shimmering. Add the cumin seeds and wait for them to splutter.
  • Sauté the finely chopped onion for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  • Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
  • Brown the minced meat, cooking for 7-8 minutes until it changes color.
  • Incorporate the diced potatoes, stirring well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in the water, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  • Once potatoes are tender, sprinkle garam masala over the dish and stir.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and lemon juice. Serve with naan or basmati rice.
